Jaisalmer Desert Camp & Camel Safari – 2 Nights

The package includes: return transfers from Jaisalmer city to the Sam Sand Dunes camp, 1-hour camel safari at sunset, 2 nights in a luxury Swiss tented camp with attached bathroom, all meals (dinner, breakfast, and lunch on Day 2), cultural folk music and dance performance around the bonfire, and a guided Jaisalmer city tour on Day 1.

Our luxury tented camp features Swiss-style canvas tents with proper beds with mattresses, clean linen, electric lighting, attached private bathrooms with running water, and a fan or AC unit. This is glamping — rustic atmosphere with modern comfort. It is very different from a basic camping experience.

We exclusively partner with camps that maintain ethical camel care standards registered with local tourism authorities. The camels are healthy, well-rested and not overloaded. Each ride is supervised by an experienced handler (mahout) who walks alongside. The ride is generally very calm and safe.

October to February is ideal — cool evenings (10–20°C), clear skies, and perfect conditions for sitting around the bonfire. March to May is warm but manageable. June–September (monsoon) is generally avoided as the desert roads can flood and the heat is intense (45°C+).

From Delhi: overnight train (Jaisalmer Express, about 17 hours) or a connecting flight via Jodhpur. From Jaipur: train (about 6 hours) or by car (560 km, ~7 hours). We can arrange all transport as part of the package — just let us know your arrival point at booking.
